Broadway's New York Theatre District is located between 6th and 8th Avenues from West 41st Street (Nederlander Theatre) to West 54th Street (Studio 54). The district goes across 8th Avenue at 45th Street to include the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. However the Vivian Beaumont & Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatres are part of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts located on West 65th Street.
Please Note: the theatres' box-offices do not answer phone calls. You need to phone either Tele-Charge or Ticketmaster and tell them your discount code. They are the official organizations selling tickets to Broadway shows...

NYC Mayor's Office of Film, Television and Broadcasting in cooperation with the Theatre Development Fund's Membership Program offers deeply discounted tickets to shows for NYC employees for their first year’s membership fee of only $20 instead of $25. Write for application form and mention that you are a city employee:

Since its creation in 1968, TDF has filled 63 million seats with subsidy support for over 700 plays and returned over 1.1 billion dollars to theatre, dance and music organizations. Membership includes over 80,000 theatre-goers. You are eligible for membership if you belong to one of the following groups: full-time student, full-time teacher, union member, senior citizen, civil service employee, staff member of not-for-profit organization, performing arts professional, member of the armed forces and clergy. $25 membership fee.
Members have access to website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to buy tickets to shows.
